This was taken in Cape Girardeau, Missouri in 2016 before I retired. I was there for a meeting and didn't have much as time to take photos as I would have liked. They have added to the courtyard since I was there. Hopefully, I can return someday. The dungeon was closed the day I was there. You can read more about the courthouse here and here.

Tick, I will have to plead guilty, guilty in liking this picture a bunch. That sunset creating wonderful shadows, the composition going from light to dark, the beautiful sky, all add up to the cause of my plea.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), I read that this courthouse already was built in 1854 in the Federal style.
As far I can judge by your good and interesting capture, it's in a perfect condition.
