I met Iris Post the same day I was Finally Golfing. It was mere moments before the horn sounded the second time. To me the golf course is my park, so I would think this would qualify for the current contest. I plan on using this one should I have the time.

I found it interesting that the sky turned out looking almost black and white. The storm was to the right of this scene. I doubt Iris survived the high winds, but she was a beauty while she lasted.

Tick, I think Iris weathered the storm - she had a snicker on her petals watching you guys run off the golf course lol - seriously, though, an excellent image - will do well in the current contest!!!!!!!!!

Well, the iris is the most prominent thing here but the sky and the river look great too.

This is remarkable, the textures, the combination of all the aspects of this scene make for a unique capture.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), I hope that Iris have survived the storm, because she's a beauty and it would be a pity that her life would be ended that soon.
I see that you've made this capture to an entry for the 'Saturday, In the park' contest. Think it's a good change.
Wish you a repeated the best of luck with it!

Interesting change for the contest - lots of good elements in this shot and iris is the focal point but I honestly prefer the golf course shot - I thought it was a beauty.

Yes, I would say it is a good one for the latest contest. I like the way you've put it all together into Togetherness. Nice work.
