Probably one of the best know ballets in existence. Not that I am an expert mind you. I have enough trouble navigating on my feet normally, without giving it a go on my tippy toes. This squirrel is a regular visitor to my backyard entertaining us, so I thought he deserved a little recognition. The mouse wouldn't sit still. I thought a perfect candidate for Saturday Night At The Movies.

He might resemble the fat old mouse king. And the title of Nutcracker suits him also. I've watched many versions of the movie. Liked the music as well.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), navigating a vessel isn't any problem for me, but, but like you, performing a balancing act on my feet will cause a dangerous situation for the ones who are in my vicinity, 😜 !
Think that even this squirrel wouldn't enjoy my 'performance'.
On the other hand, I enjoy its great 'portrait.
Perfectly seen and captured, so very representative for the SNATM-theme (🎥).

Lucky fellow to get this fine photo of the squirrel, I have quite a story about the squirrels in our neighborhood.
I bought a new VB Beetle five years back and the first time I took it in for a maintenance check the air filter was full of all these walnuts the squirrels had stored in there. Made a good story for the workers that were working on it. We never figured out they got them in that compartment. Gotta park in the garage all the time now. End of story.

Cute little fellow Tick, and nice close up. I bring in my feeders every night because of the racoons. But still have lost 3 of small little plastc cups I had for tidbits. Where they are I have no idea, my guess the squirrels have taken them on the roof. :) tigz=^..^=

You're a wizard at detail too, Tick. Mr Squirrel is in great detail for all to see. I think he may be trying out for the role of the Mouse King. But clearly and sadly, he is a squirrel and not a mouse. Sorry Rocky, but animation is in your future!
