I think it was worth it but I can't look too long. FPA you know. It looks like the wind is blowing pretty hard. The moss and the Egret look like they're being shaped by the breezes. Good photo EJ

I think it turned out just fine E.J. What a balance he has and love the swaying moss. ♫ sandi

What an amazing scene! I agree with the previous comments - the pendulant moss adds a very special quality to this beautiful shot, especially as it is being wafted slightly by the wind, giving some interesting angles. The off-centre composition of the egret as the focal point adds the crowning touch. Great work!

Ooooooooooo I love this!! Wow, does it ever take me back to good ol' Louisiana bayous. I've always loved the Spanish Moss...and I miss the Egrets, altho up here in Oregon we do have Bloo Herons...which are lovely too. Kind of similar. Thank you soooo very much for this photo. Will really enjoy having it on my desktop..brings back many memories. Verena

A great shot. Particularly well balanced contrast and saturation levels makes the image look very rich but not blown out in any dark/light areas. Did it look like that to the human eye when you took it?
