What impresses me more than the "second head" is the translucency of the wing and the wonderful clarity of this photo.

I would have never spotted it if you didn't say something. Eagle eye E.J. Another beauty with great clarity, colour and detail. ( Stomps on full folder to make more room for another great Egret image ). Thanks for sharing

Thought at first sight that it was a leg of the egret shining throught its wing, but suppose now (have still some doubts) that it's the shadow of an accompanying egret E.J. Anyhow a wonderful image. Thanks for
