An Oldie but Moldy from the Bin. Summer thunderstorms often strike dead cypress trees making them the perfect Lightning Rods. A rework of an Old post once removed. Slight Ortons and HDR combined. Have A Great Day! E J

That is one dramatic looking sky. A few minutes ago, it looked like that around here. Then we got a big storm that only lasted about ten minutes. That was enough, though. Nice HDR and Orton job on this beauty.

I am not an artist,just a photographer,I capture what I see... Pentax K-10D
I have found that Norton and FDR, although strange bedfellows, work well together. Once removed of course. I can see where the bark has been stripped by lightning SK. Beautiful scene with a great sky.
