No doubt he's trying to give you a stern look but for me that long bill has a slightly comical look and makes it hard for me to take him seriously...to me he looks a little down and I feel a bit sorry for him...great closeup and detail EJ.

What a beautiful pelican!!! An excellent capture Ej!!! It does look as though he is giving you the eye perhaps wondering if you just might have a nice juicy fish for him. His colors and markings are gorgeous - a simply magnificent bird.
