Thanks for the comments everyone. I really didn't do anything special. It's an amazing country with amazing light. It can change in minutes. All you have to do is notice it and point your camera at it.
From looking at the thumbnail this reminded me of some of the excellent photos by Yenom. The above comments are right-on about the dramatic landscape, and I really the foreground rocks. One thought is that it might have been interesting to put the camera closer to the ground in order to emphasize the boulders.
Wonderful color, composition and clarity. I really don't think there would be any way to improve on this, except maybe if some of those cars and things weren't there. I'll give you a 10.
This photo is fantastic! I love everything about it. I don't usually write raving critiques but there are few better shots then this on here. I hope to see more of your work in the future.
I love the space in this photograph, very rich in color and tone. The clouds form an interesting canopy in the background that gives great depth to this photo. Good Job.
Zoran.
God Bless you

I agreee, the shot is perfect! The clouds look dark and gloomy, creating a neat lighting effect on the scenery. I'm all for nature scenes, their probably my favorite pictures. Excellent job! ;)

ik vond net een reply van je bij één van m'n oostenrijk postings. had nog niet het genoegen gehad iets van je werk te zien, maar bij deze dan ! shitterend landschap, en een zeer krachtige wolkenlucht. prachtig !
Hello Jewan.....What a beautiful scene this is....It reminds me of the scenery in Scotland.....I like the way you have the rocks as your foreground adding great depth to the picture....The distant mountains and the lovely sky makes this picture a pleasure to view....Well done Jewan....All the best to you....Mick.
