This is beautiful. It looks like a merry go round with little seats for the insects. There is no telling what goes on there when you are not looking. Colors are gorgeous Dr. Quinn.
Hi Adriana These are such pretty blooms! I have wondered what these were called because I have seen them growing around here too. Love the rain dripping off the petals and the colors of the flower! Very nice! Paul
That is a Passion vine or flower. We have them in our neighborhood as well. Great shot. From Wikipedia: Passiflora, known also as the passion flowers or passion vines, is a genus of about 500 species of flowering plants, the namesakes of the family Passifloraceae.
The details and the colours on this one are top notch especially the little blue petals.Love the rain drops as well and the sharpness of the whole composition!Great post!
Great image of this passiflora, aka passion flower or passion vine, Adriana. Although posted on Thurday night, it's a wonderful F² (Foofy Friday) image to me. Very well done!
I really like everything about this, Adriana. Beautiful colors that just pop, great details and a little bit of water is always a good thing - well, maybe not always but it certainly is in this case. Wonderful posting -
Such gorgeous colors of this little treasure of a flower, and a verdant fresh atmosphere with beautiful capture of the water droplets. Thanks for sharing this delightful display. =)
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
