One of the three Elven-rings in The Lord of the Rings.

"It glittered like polished gold overlaid with silver light, and a white stone in it twinkled as if the Even-star had come down to rest upon her hand."

I find this extraordinary unique and intriguing!! I like the background a lot; the gem is a bit 'washed out' but over all a cool design!!

I would have loved this for its excellence (according my preferences) as a wallpaper...even without the LOTR connection (I am an unabashed Tolkien fan). As a background this has enough interest to permit enjoyment in studying it, but the blues and greens are perfect for leaving me alone to work if I need to work. Well done.

Well for what it's worth, I think it's a grand piece of work, well done.

Very interesting piece .. I like the colours and textures. The only thought in a negative vein I had is that I find that the Star Opal type thing makes the centre structure look like a ring (for ones finger) but if it IS a ring then the perspective looks wrong .. ...

-My Gallery- The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking. - Brooks Anderson
