You are expected, just follow the lights.

Here's a winter/fantasy scene in the "cwm" in the mountains that I've used for several other pictures. This time it's winter, and the solitary cottage dweller is expecting company.

I really like those trees. This is a marvelous render. Would really be a hit at Christmas.

I agree with the others, Hannah, this fabricated view is about as perfect a computer illustration as any I've seen at Caedes. My many years of living with snow, however, leads me to suggest that the paths in the foreground and the from the stream to the cabin are a little too perfect. Snow has a habit of sticking to depressions in the ground, to clods of ice, to tracks worn in the dirt, and to be compressed where feet and skis pass. Icedancer Pat, has a number of photos of paths in the snow for examples of what it looks like; a forced and tramped-down track that has no consistency other than inconsistency. Just a thought. Something to consider for next time. Otherwise, if the c-index were still in play, I'm sure this one would be well into the 90's.

Needs moar magic!

Moar lights!

... ...

Ahem.

Nice work. :)

But, you know me..

I do think, and sorry.. don't have the time at the moment.. there is another image of yours that has a set of lights along a snowy path.

So..

Flesh out that nice meandering curve down to the bridge with.. more lights. (*Some*.. more, that is.)

A thought.. a suggestion.

... ...

I know.. I know.. you're welcome.

Thanks for sharing this one with us, Hannah. I like it.
