"Welcome to Colorado" was just the beginning of the beautiful rock formations and scenery of the State. Around every bend there ws another breathtaking sight. Enjoy and thanks for peeking in. Anita
It's one of the more picturesque States in this country, Anita, and you're capturing its beauty very well! And you're right, around every corner .... can't wait to see the rest of your trip - brings back very fond memories! - Patty
Thanks to all who comment on pictures in my gallery. Please accept my apologies if I am unable to thank you each time, and please don't feel obligated to thank me for my comments.
You captured this scene beautifuly Anita. Very nice detail & composition. Colorado is such a picturesque state ... I am looking forward to seeing more from your trip. Thank you for sharing.
Such beauty in such a barren place and you've captured it so well in this prize winning photo! The sky is an amazing blue and the clarity of the rocks and brush is wonderful.
Well done!
"Hey, Colorado, it was not so long ago, I left your mountains to try love on the road,....Colorado, I'm coming home'..Linda Ronstadt. What a beautiful place. I have to see it before I die, God willing of course. Wonderful shot, Anita. Now I have wander lust.
Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.

Anita, great shot, great landescap (Welcome you the Colorado) the natural beauty with all the power of the world to our eyes, I love these landscapes and he was not by chance that yesterday 27-7-2006 I passed the day in a mountain, much very pretty, congratulations and saudaçoes friends (pride)
What a welcome to Colarado being greeted with this sight Anita! It is breathtaking, no doubt about it and well done at capturing it from this vantage point. If you softened it just a touch it would obliterate the little blue line around the rockface. I know how difficult it is to get the colour just right - I have been working on some pictures this afternoon and everytime I go back to them I have to change them again! lol! This is a stunning photograph - looking forward to seeing some more :) Patti

Wow, it kinda looks like a place on the moon(lol), the sky is so clear and a great contrast to the rocks, I'l really have to go to your beautiful country someday, well done!!
The name ChuPat is derived from my nickname Chuck and my wife of 34 years name Patti. Her photography will appear on Caedes as well from time to time. I consider myself an advanced amature not anyway close to being a professional. I have just taken photography more seriously since I have switched to digital. My profession has always been associated with pohtography in one way or another. Any criticism I receive will be well appreciated.
This is a great shot ...except for one little hitch, the blurred bushes in the foreground. I would have cropped that out. That canyon is just wonderful with so much detail and the sky is beautiful. Excellent work.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Ehhyaa! Great work! I like the vivid sky-blue and clouds, and the ground: rock & the greens bottom of image... Hmmm... This composition is very well done!
Anita! It's a superb shot!
Well composed. I'd like to see some work done with the color. It's a bit to the cyan side of the spectrum. Must have been late in the day, eh? Nice sharp image with wonderful texture. anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
I like the colors just as they are, Anita. "Entering Colorado" is an impressive image. The lighting or time of day couldn't be more perfect to explore all the details of this image, and the depth of field is extraordinary..............Neil
Another great one! The beautiful blue sky against the marvelous rock formations. Just imagine the lovely rock pieces you could find here - or who knows what else, since CO is a prominant original Indian home (my fam from CO- my GG was Blackfoot Indian in full blood; but there were also several other tribes such as the Pueblo). These photos are taking me back to a place I love - I soooo appreciate you sharing.
You've captured an elusive backlight with excellent balance in FG! Well done. To sandserene: I live in Aspen, but the original name for this town was Ute City.

I saw a needle that winked its eye.
But I think I will have seen everything
