I worked in the Bank of America Center for 8 years, including the time during tropical storm Allison a few years ago. We weren't able to go to the office for a month while they emptied and dried out the underground shopping area and the bottom of the building. Sadly one person was lost in that storm in our building. As always, thanks for stopping by. Anita

Anita. I always thought Texas was such a dry state until I began to take notice of the fact that you have a lot more rain there than we do here in the Denver area. So sad to hear of the loss of life anywhere expecially when it is senseless. Nevertheless, this is a very nice image. Have you ever played around in Photoshop with straightening out perspedtive? Try it sometime. It is a real hoot.

Another nice blend of water and buildings, Anita. I remember that flood there and how devestating it was to all in the city. Sad to know about the death, though. - Patty

Anita , you do educate me with your wonderful Photos - there is always so much to see! After so many Conspiracy Theories aired on TV - I only knew one tiny bit of Houston, and never though of what lies beyond! Thank you for bringing me into a real world!

Beautiful picture.
It is always sad if someone dies during heavy weather. Were you during tropical storm Allison in the bldg., or were you at home. It seems a terrible experience me. Tropical storm do not know we, however, a normal storm, with an extreme wind strength 11, but that is exceptional.

This is just right. This can hold it's own as a design only. Perfect the framing.

Excellent capture Anita. You shot it from the perfect angle to show off the majestic way the buildings shoot into the beautifully blue sky. I think you framed it well too.

the contrast of the buildings against that azure blue sky was nice enough, but with the frame...superb!

The buildings look unreal because they are so perfect. I like the way you used the brown to frame the shot.

You do have the most beautiful buildings where you live Anita. Perfect angle to show off it's beauty and nicely framed. So sad though that someone lost their life here.
