This is a tough photo to critique, the subject is totally prosaic but the shot is very well composed. It will get a terrible c-index but actually is superior camera work and conception than many images that will score very well. Sharpness is consistent over the whole image. The comp is great with lines forming a theoretical X thru the image and the tilt serves to turn a prosaic subject into an almost abstract. An S curve in the curves dialogue might lift it a touch but other than that, it's a great shot.

I think the lines in this one are really interesting. Don't let the c-index get you down. You had a great idea to play with lines and texture, and you composed it well. I like the creativity!

Just saw this in the VB. Have to agree, the lines and textures on this is great.

But...(there is always a but)this is just my opinion of it. There seems to be no real focus on what this image is showing. Nothing on here is really grabbing a person's eye and going WOW. What are you trying to show on this photo; the window, lines, sign or what is going on inside the window?

But like I said, it's just my humble opinion of this.

This is a very interesting shot.. It is so different to me that I really do like it.
