This is my other desk, an old school library table that I have my 2nd computer on. I have a third, but won't bore you with that one (an old computer I have set up in the basement), LOL! The main thing about posting this one is that the painting above was done by Caedes own thomasw1217. I bought the painting over 15 years ago, before either one of us got the photography bug. And now Tom knows it is still on the wall, LOL!

Well John, after upgrading some peripherals, and coming across a bargain on a used computer, I decided to just put another system together. Works both for a backup, and always having a usable computer when one is tied up running a scan or whatever.

What ever happened to the good ol' days?
Larry, the painting is like a beautiful window to the world. Thomas does great work - either painting or picturing - you are fortunate to have one of his masterpieces. I never realized there was so much talent in Kansas until I found Caedes.

Larry, If you wanted to embarrass me you did. I do that on my own by posting some of my pics here on this site with so many great photographers. My paintings were never that good but It was always something I enjoyed doing.

Not trying to embarrass ny friend, I bought that painting (from another person if you remember) because I both liked it, and thought it was good! Don't sell yourself short man, you have more talent than you realize. I wish I could paint like that, but my hand and eyes don't see the same things when holding a paint brush, LOL! But I can paint a wall all one color, does that count? ;)

Amazing..yet another man on caedes with a tidy neat desk, even tho it's your second desk. Well, everyone will be in for a shock when I post my desk area..! I love the painting. I'm a artist and paint with oil paint also, on canvas. So I think this is gorgeous, and am for sure going to tell your friend that. He should be so proud of this painting. How can he say his paintings were never that good! OMG...this painting is magnificent. Look at that gorgeous high peak on the mountain!! And the colours. wow. Verena

She was so blonde she spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice box because it said "concentrate" !
