Good eye for an interesting shot Bernd! I like the lighting & the macro helps a lot. I think muchdetail and impact would be lost if this was done as a photo without macro mode! There are various textures in this capture. The nutshell, the pole, and the nail! Without the nails, there would not be much of a pcicture :)......and no, I don't think that you are nuts, just very observent and camera ready! Thanks :~)

And then the feeling of the nailhead...the metal...well its all very well done..Im soooooooooo glad you posted this. Das is so sehr schoen. Deine bilder sind so guht. I guess we both are Bernie, lol. The shell with the focused brim and fuzzy middle looks like a cave or something, which is pretty inviting. I feel I would like to come inside to check what is deep there in the nut shell.
