This scenery is like one of your nightmares....you know these dreams where you get haunted and try to escape....but where would you hide on an open field ? Please vote..
Bernd, this is fantastic ! It's like something just on the edge of a dream, not quite reality, but not altogether surreal, either. Rather, a perfect blending of two disparate realities. A nice delicate touch with the shadings, not overpowering, just enough to give it that hint of dreaminess. It's in my favs, & on my HD, so I look at it anytime I want. Great work.
great colours and very good angle that gives you the sense of vastness.... also the painted sky really adds a lot... totally getting the dreamy feeling. Very well done Bernd!
Not that bad for a nightmare .. Mine are really exhausting - myself in a huuuuge shop surrounded completely with lots of various cookies, pastry etc sweets - this is horrible considering that one's time [in a dream] is limited so you must make a choice fast !!!
Nice painting, Bernie, seriously !
Hey Bernd!!...wow this is very intrigueing...that sky is uniquq and sure add to the theme you've brought out in here...The colours are fantastic of course..and the contrast between the filed, the sky and the dark dramatic trees is amazing..Well, go climb the tree for safety eh?? great work on the feeling in this photo my friend!!..........verena
This is an amazing picture. I love how you have added such detail to the sky. This is a fantastic image. Nice work.....again!! I give this two thumbs up!! Where would you go?????
Looks like quite a good dream to me! vast open space with nice colors...my nightmares are very different. Great manipulation Bernie, I didn't know you do that too.
Nice use of filters here. One thing I felt was out of place, I think there are lights from houses in the background (or something that looks very much like that). For me this takes away from the sense of isolation/desolation that I felt you were trying to acheive. I mihgt have removed them myself. Other than that it's pretty much perfect and I agree with the title, it seems quite appropriate to me.
I wouldn't say it is a nightmare scenery. Unless a nightmare of some expressionst. I have noticed that your images seem very expressive lately. I guess this is in the usage of vivid colours and it is hidden deeply in the context of the photo. It looks more like a painting to me my friend. This image definitely has some message.
You have created a unique manipulated image by using brush effects and vibrant saturations. The lightness agains the darkness is very nicely balanced and this is a good piece to check out.
I've got one of these hacked cornfields across the street stretching to the horizon, it's anything but picturesque. I love the ramped up color and contrast, the watercolor on paper sky is a bonus.
