I took this shot during the summer at Astoria, OR. It looks pleasant here, but currently, Astoria is experiencing some horrible storms. I'm hoping the situation will improve very soon, especially with Thanksgiving coming up tomorrow.

Beautiful shot. I love that sky, and the pilings in the water. The bridge looks good too. Very nice work.

Your strength is perspective;forget the animals and flowers...concentrate on scenes and mood and that wonderful foreshortening you often capture in so many of your works.especially like Clouded, as it is unique, making the ordinary strange and it has power........thanks for all your comments on mine.JAmes

I forgot to add on the pier shot here that the sky at top can be cut off mostly, bringing more attention to where the real scene matters...

Love this almost silhouetted sunset (or sunrise?) image, Amanda.
The well balanced composition is chosen with care.
A very moody and fine image to me. Well done!

Regards, Cornelius.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

A nice perspective in the photo, Amanda. Lovely colours in the sky, though something could be done to the over-exposed area at the top. I'm not sure what but I'm sure something could bring it under control. I like the silhouettes in the scene. Good work.
