Sabine, two days ago I captured a similar image. The only real difference is that on my image no mountains can be seen as there are no mountains in my country. Don't, however, blame you for that, lol. Will smash mine in the computer dustbin. Thanks for this beautiful image and thanks for making me disappointed as well (lol again for the second part of this sentence). Regards, Cornelius

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
I've walked my two miles today, but I didn't see anything like this. Biggest thing I saw was a Pepsi truck. It didn't look much like a photo opt. This is sooooooooo good. You gave us just enough view of the path to show us where to go and enough of the field to show us walking wasn't too bad there. Then you dangle that Carrot Mountain and give us the energy to continue. What a post this is.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Very beautiful place you live... here is everything as flat as can be! ;-(
So I love to see pics with mountains in them and this one is a real beauty!!
Oh well, i could write so much here, but i will not. For me from a flat country, i will only say that i wish that i was here again, and that the summer was back.
Thanks for this beautifull reminder.
