Well titled! I can imagine a crystal powering that green jewel, with a magnetic directional device in the freely moving center ball. Now, only cryptic runes along a more clearly defined and marked in intervals outer circle (which you might consider adding) remain to complete my imagination! I especially like those flattened "solar system" designs along the facets of the green "jewel".
