For someone who is not a "flower person" I really seem to be getting drawn to a lot of nice pieces lately, particularly edits of flower shots. I love the colors here and the dark sinister side makes a nice landing for people who are stuck on having desktop icons. Really nice work~
true blue indeed, i love it Lucy, u did what i couldnt do to the image, hats off to ye : ) into me faves methinks, ur edit has brought out a softness of the petals very well. skillfully done. : {D
Damn! Perfect! Nature+ manip in perfect harmony. I like this better than the original, probably coz I'm a sucker for blue manips! What does the burning carnation symbolise for you Cain? Or was the flower sacrificed for the glory of this image?
I have yet to find a wallpaper that suits my style better than this one. I've been using it for months, and have a feeling I will keep doing so. Excellent work.
Every mammel on the planet develops a natural balance or a certain equalibrium with the world around them but we humans do not, we move to an area and we multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way we can survive is to spread to another area. There is only one other organism on this planet that follows the same pattern, a virus. Human beings in the intrest of the planet are a desiese a cancer of this eath. (Kinda makes you proud dosen't it)
Lucy, this came up on the main page just now and I have to say that here is another powerful rendering from you. Everyone finds artists whose work speaks to them in some way; for undetermined and (probably) subconscious reasons, many of your images speak to me. I look at these images and read into them emotions and ideas which may or may not have been your intent. But what is the true substance of art? Is it your initial idea or is it my interpretation of that idea? I don't know. All I do know is that this image is the essence of peace.
