There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in. Though it's red blood bleeding from her now, it's more like cold blue ice in her heart. She feels like kicking out all the windows and setting fire to this life. She could change everything about her using colors bold and bright, but all the colors mix together...to grey. ~*DaveMatthewsBand*~
very nice, I'm enjoying the softness and the green tint, I would have saved the tint in the trees and sky for a natural look, but this in yours gives quite the eerie feeling
As with most of the above comments, I agree! Spooky, yet so beautiful. It is rather soft, but that adds to it. It is hard to believe this was all done in photoshop. I suppose you are against revealing your secrets??? ;-)
Normally I'm not into manipulation, but in this case, the result is really etheral and lovely. Looks like the Elves will walk into the scene at any moment.
Tim Burton only dreams of a backdrop like this! This is a real knock out. How much is really there? The vertical trees are so misty they seem almost like an afterimage and the ground became so soft it looks like you could sink in it. A ten from me if you couldn't tell.
P.S. get that web site up.
oh wow.. this is an amazing shot... it looks like the setting that would be for A Midsummernight's Dream.. so mysterious, and wonderful at the same time
I love this manipulation Lucy...I cannot decide if it depicts spooky and creepy & Halloween scary or if it is soothing and cool & some place very special ...the more I stare at it, the more undecided I become so I think I will just add it to my favorites and enjoy it! Top marks and thank you :))
A world about to dissolve. Like Fantasia in the Neverending Story. One of the rare cases where blurred objects add to the image rather than detract from it.
I really don't have anything to add that hasn't all ready been said but this, to me, is simply one of the top images on Caedes. The composition of the shot is only heightened by the color/lighting edits you made. Your work is top notch.
To know how far to go and how far to stop is the beginning and the edge of the world as we know it and all our surroundings to exist, to alter the veiws of all surrounding you to see it all in a creepy way only brings fear to their eyes while bringing power to your finger tips, continue with these manips for they bring power to you in a flow that will end, and only end when you jump from this edge of the world. 10/10 Life in such a place as you have created would be so very peaceful.

Then in their trouble they called to the Lord, and He saved them from their distress. He brought them out of their gloom and darkness and broke their chains in pieces. (Psalm 107:13-14)
wow. great manipulating. the colours and all are so great. just one thing..... I can still see through some of the trees. well I don't know if you meant it but this is of course just my opinion.
I feel like I am safe. Safe in the hidden recesses of the foilage, peering out into a mysterious world. Great creation. The whole image is soothing.
