I am not sure what type of flower this is, I want to say that it is some type of wild flower. I had seen this on the side of the road last summer and took a quick shot of it, and finally decided that I should load it since summer is back on it way in. Hope you enjoy!

Very nice shot, The lighting on the petals is great and the whole thing is very reminiscent of summer.

I see these bright yellow wildflowers growing all summer long as well ... they sure are pretty. I love how the petals are lit by the sun. Great detail too. Personally, I would have cropped a little off on the right to off-center the flower ... other than that it's a wonderful capture Callie.
