A close up of a peacock's feathers. I just love the gorgeous colours - could almost be a fractal! I think the 'normal' brown feathers to either side frame it quite well.

The picture was actually difficult to get - had to shoot through a very tight mesh fence into an enclosure and the damned bird kept moving.

Inconsiderate creature! ;-) It is true what they say isn't it, that nature is the greatest artist of all... at least I think that's what they say... anyway great pic, it's on my desktop as we speak (or more accurately as I type...)

I really like the close up of this peacock. It really brings attention to all the beautiful colors. I prefer this image than I would a photo of an entire peacock.
