Great use of light, Mathew. Deep textures and gradients. Very cinematic as rendered here, very visually effective.

Nice work Matt, this is well finished and has a lot of depth. The colours are also very sympathetic to the subject matter.

Such an intriguing image. The glass top *boat* has me trying to create a story. I'm thinking of some sort of precious cargo lost from another craft, drawn into the jetty by accidental tides... I love this image!

Hello Matt, For some reason I haven't stumbled into your gallery until now. Wow, there's a plethora of great images here. The lighting/shadows make this one dynamic indeed. I like your style and your choice of fantasy, off center type of images. Bravo!

Yep, a very story-stimulating image -- strongly reminds me of some of the better stuff from the PC-game 'Myst'. Keep-up the good 'deep' stuff like this ... and you might just get lucky enough to end-up doing what you love, having fun doing it, and making good money at it!

I like the lighting here a lot - the lamp in the darkness. It maybe doesn't seem quite intense enough to spread so much light, but who knows what bulbs they have there? I like the reflections on water in this, but there's something about the water beyond the bridge that doesn't look _quite_ right to me. It looks more like sand than water. Could just be me though.

Great other than that.
