nice shot! :) I'm sure I would have been much too afraid to stand next to the edge to get something like that, great job :)

I like the way the water is breaking around the rocks. Nice shot.

Great shot. Definately would have had a rope tied around my waist and anchored back to something to get this shot...good birds eye view:-)

Thanks everyone. I had fun taking this one - I kept checking exactly where my feet were! Luckily the wind was blowing onshore. I too like the colour of the water.

What a pleasant desktop this makes Matthew! The color of the water is very soothing & the seperation with the ground & the rocks & the flowers is awesome. Great angle too! Thank you! :))

An amazing shot! I hope you were further back than the photo looks! Agree with Mimi - the details in the pic are truely well balanced!

lol! I was a little further back, but not much. Like I said, there was an onshore wind - quite a strong one. I would have been hard pressed to fall off the cliff. Perhaps I was after a darwin award!

I missed this one at the time, so thanks for the pointer. It's a great capture of a familiar-looking view, although I can't say I've ever seen it from quite this far forward......

Ahh, lovely capture. I missed it as well. Very interesting composition and I agree the color of the sea is really great. I just love those withered flowers in the right bottom corner btw. They add a lot to the shot IMO. (Is it your shadow I see towards the left bottom?) I would not have been able to take such a cool photo since I have a touch of vertigo... ^_^

Thanks. Not sure if that was my shadow, Klas.

It looks worse than it is. I too liked the flowers - I think they give more perspective to the photo.

Forget about the darwin award hehe. This shot on a precipice has got that ummph! I especially like the cove's arc along with the emerald green waters. You've certainly made the best of a treacherous spot.

North coast of Cornwall, just to the east of Hayle, there's some little carparks to the north of the road. That's where I snapped it.
