Wow...I'm always so impressed when someone gets a pic of a wild beestie!!! This is a very nicely composed... taken with the contrasting snow and water... the rock up front works so well against the backdrop of the evergreen in the back. High marks from me :)PJ
would have been a really nice picture if ChuPat didn't had put (paste) the elk there or if he had taken some more time manipulated it (example the grenn spot underneath the elk)

Chuck, your pictures are Amazing. I am not worthy (I say on bended knee.) I would love to see an Elk, sadly, the closest thing to an Elk I will ever get is a squirrel maybe or a rabbit. Maybe a deer if I am really lucky.
