This is for Carissa and Rouski, whom we lost to a kayaking accident in Maine on Monday. Some of us that knew Carissa and Rouski had soccer in common. Psalm 112- The righteous shall be in rememberance forever. I took the shot and added the Sepia effect to look as if those who were there came and went, an old sorta shot I guess. Please keep these two families in prayer.

My thoughts are with you thru this, what a very sad thing to happen to such young people. It's hard to even know what to say except, as you said, keep the families in prayers. They need all the love and kindness and courage possible at this time. And for you to remember the good and hold them dear to your heart. Our Creator takes care of everyone, no matter what, too. It's a kind thing for you to let us know, and altho we don't know your friends, we will wish the families comfort and peace. Verena

The two were well-loved, and saved by the grace of our Lord. We can take joy in knowing that they are home now, and that the sorrow is only at their absence in the world, and the temporary loss of their companionship. But the saved will see them again when we join them up home. Death is not so terrible; it is the gateway to heaven for those who are saved through Jesus Christ, but nonetheless, it is still hard on the people who knew them, however little much. A very heartfelt tribute to them, Robin, thank you.
