This was a collage of 2 groups of 9 photos that I was trying to get into a collage using Picassa. I found an option for different ways of applying the collage... and chose the 'blender' (my wording) option which gave me this. I found it to be quite interesting for a desktop image. A better image can probably be had with more T&E and/or different images... thus the reason for the post! Now that you know, I leave it in your hands... Picassa is freeware! :o) Edit: There is Orange in there... each of the 9 photos had Orange in them so (trying to present something different!)... AND it should be easily re-sized to fit any screen!

Post a Comment - Subscribe to this discussionThanks EJ, but Qué sera, sera! :o) In this image I had a couple of darker pics and one with a light in it... they stand out in their own ways in this image. I have made another minus these three photos. Getting what I think are great images (whether by camera or otherwise!) make my day! Check it out tomorrow. :o)

Wonderful and interesting results, Con! I can see several things in your montage; street lamps, trees, flowers! A fine example of thinking outside of the box! Well done! :)

Yes, Lori... Google's Picassa... I have version 3.1 and when I click on Check for updates it tells me it is up-to-date. But thanks to my mental state (mentioning Picasso) and YOU, I now have version 3.5! Note... it likes to scan the hd since it is an organizer as well... and compact it's database when you exit the program. Last night I moved a bunch of folders of pics so I got some Picassa activity this morning. It's not painful at all... it's just there and I want you to know about it before you decide to install! :o)
AND Frank, Glad you liked it. It does please me to know that I have posted something interesting for one of the many here that provide me with beautiful images for my ScreenSaver folder! :o) Consider trying Picassa...
Edit: As to the thinking outside of the box... I was kinda forced to do so... there were too many fine pics being entered, so I figured I would try to enhance my chances by being different.

This is really very nice. The first thing I thought was it looked like a handmade art piece made from different colored tissue paper glued in an overlapping manner. A lovely picture, and yes a wonderful desktop image!
