My title for this image on my hd is OurChurch but when I googled Contemplation my finds were greatly related to prayer... and when you find but two people in a church you know they are not there to impress people. :o) This is an older (2 years) image as indicated by the max. resolution. I believe anonymity is inherent in this image! :o) And see... I do have a memory of some kind!... I remembered I had this shot and probably spent more time searching for it than I did getting it! I couldn't remember the title used... so I went to DOS to search for it! :o) It has now been rotated and trimmed to remedy a 1/2 degree ccw tilt I had noticed.

Con, I feel the spirit within. Even though everything is made from wood, I have always felt comfortable sitting on a pugh. This is an excellent example of contemplation. Best wishes in the contest.

You and your older(?) camera did a fine job on the note of exposure. Challenging interior shot.

Quite impressed with the image quality. Detail and clarity are great.

Good good composition. Colour is very natural as well.

Caveats?

Can't help shake the thought/idea of how the image would change .. visually .. if only natural lighting was available. So, call it a curiosity on my part, as opposed to that of a true caveat here.

Last words on the constructive critiquing front, or should I say.. a picture (or two) worth a few words ... perhaps..

'Creative food for thought'

'More creative food for thought'

I'll leave you with the above images to visually decipher any possible relevance. Either, artistically or with respect to that of post processing/editing.

That said..

Best of luck to you, Con ... in the contest. :o)

John... Thank-you (I entered this image because no one had this subject as an entry) and Les... Thank-you!

By the way Les... I totally agree with your 'Creative food for thought'. It is something I had considered but refrained from trying because having been in the church, my eyes are accustomed to that upper area (and I very much like the windows up there!) I often am the sunblock for my wife. I love the sun in my eyes... my wife does not! She wants to see everything! :o)
In your second image... I miss the plant in the corner... it balances the image for me! :o)

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
