Though this is not a bridge by definition, it resembles one... and my main reason for putting this up is to pass on an idea (thus making it a bridge to learning) I got from Proshow slideshow maker, which took a landscape image and pasted it over a larger copy of the same image (in b&w) and displayed this in the slideshow. At first I was mimicking the program by doing the same for my pictures (especially any vertical or squares) but eventually I got brave and tried keeping the larger-stretched copy in full-colour. I use this 'trick' whenever their is something that can't be stretched out of shape... like people! Enjoy the idea! It has opened up the world of verticals to me! I do make use of Layer-Layer Style. :o)                                                                                                                                                 The photo was taken in/near one of the ports of call during an Alaska Cruise a few years ago. It was taken with the G2 Canon we had at that time. Clip on area in which photo was taken Juneau, Alaska (Glacier Gardens) and their upside-down-trees!

Excellent photo and unusual composition - great to look outside the square!

What is life, if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare - and take pictures!
