What a funny little animal... it almost looks like you have placed him there just for the shot... "Say cheese!" I think the quality is actually quite good.
LOL... they were quite tame. They begged for food from the tourists. It's called a "Dassie" or Hyrax. You can actually see the Castle of Good Hope in this photo, if you look carefully (a Pentagon shaped building).
I'm glad that the quality isn't that bad, I might even see if I can find some other photo's of that trip.
would you think less of me if i told you every time i see this one full size i just want to see the little critter explode in a cloud orange smoke in a Monty Python style?? :D.. and where should i be looking to find that castle... im getting eye strain trying to find it.. lol... i see no pentagon but i do see a castlegone..lol sorry bad humor!
Ok, am I the ONLY one that can see the castle? You'll have to view it in full screen. It really is there, just look very carefully. This is the best directions I can give: If you follow a straight line up from the animals neck, and you follow another line to the right of the high rise buildings (in the left of the shot), then you'll find the castle roughly where the two lines meet.
i see the pentagon but i cant make out a castle. but i will take ur word for it. i must say tho i have similar sentiments about the animalas Grim...sorry. too many hours watching monty python.good funny capture : ) thanx for sharing
Reminds me of that old Carpenter's Song, "Top Of The World". ;-0 My camera would have a nosebleed and I would have a heart attack! Neat Picture. Thanks.
This has got to be the cutest animal I have even seen, ever. I can't stop gushing at it and I am just wondering what kind of roddent it is exactly... Anyways, the view behind it is worth a thousand buck, since you got the chipmunk in front... Ahhh, simply wonderful!
