I took this after a thunderstorm. The noise caused by my camera is distracting though. Any ideas on how I can improve it?

Excellent! The moment I saw this thumbnail, I thought, what is floating on top of the water? Looks very much like light shining through a floating mass and dispersing the light as it enters the water. Great decieving desktop:-)

Nice capture. Just in the middle there is a boundary line between dark and bright blue color.

Not too much noise in this pic, but you can always use Neat Image to clear things up. If you have Photoshop, you can play with the layer settings to make some areas sharper and some smoother.
