Not a terribly original title, I know, but anyway here is my entry for the current contest. Taken at the Basilica de Voto Nacional in Quito, Ecuador. The Basilica is a modern recreation of the Notre Dame cathedral - with a decidedly Latin twist, as all the gargoyles are local wildlife - land-dwelling creatures on the bottom level, and birds on the upper levels. Quite beautiful, even if it is not faithful to the "true" Gothic style.

I agree the entire Church structure is, from that perspective, a mix up of modern and gothic art.
Good workaround.

A very different, very interesting perspective of a stained glass window. Most pictures I see are straight onto the glass and make a flat boring picture. But your's has captured how it really is, how we really see them. I'm not ashamed to say that the next time I'm somewhere with stained glass I'm going to try and copy you, but it may take me a while to get to this standard!
