This photograph with the shepherd speaks for itself. Have you also taken that in Bodrum? Splendid photograph.

What a wonderful study, I love this sort of picture. Well done Hilde, it is so sharp and the sunlight falls beautifully.

A unique image as it tells us about other people in other worlds/lands.....I wonder if you noticed how well several curves blend here; this is often an unconconscious motive for a photographer..note how the arcs of the dogs(posterior of each) , the shepherd, the top of the hill and several other places are mirrored by curve of that piece of sand/beach next to water in upper right...... in distance; this is a pleasing and well done image!

I really great relaxing photo. It makes my wish I could cast off the shackles of materialistic modern live and change my life to one that looks as humble and modest as your subject's and his dogs. Great portrait!

It's better to have a living dog, than a dead lion.

Great shot of this gentleman and his dogs! He seems so warm and friendly, but I'm sure very tired and weary too. Great capture Hilde, thanks for sharing this!..=)

this is another of the photos that tells a bit of a story. that makes it special. the gentleman seems to be content enjoying a rest by the water with his pets. he lhas a pleasant look on his face. the scene is a very good one. jen

Now, that's one relaxed fella. . And those dogs, hardworking pups as well. A good capture of a slice of life whereever it is. Good perspective and balance.
