I do believe I like the background better than the mushrooms. The background steals the whole show but I'm not sure that's bad. I like it.

These look like they have spikes on them. The greens and golds in the background are somewhat distracting though. Brown leaves would have let the beauty of the mushrooms stand out more. They are a wonderful find and thank you for sharing them with us as I have never seen mushrooms like this.

I haven't seen the first one yet, so I can't comment on comparing the two, but I think that the background and the shroom family are living in perfect color harmony with each other on this clearly presented upload. I think that the colors add to the whole image, and those mushrooms are certainly interesting enough to steal center stage in any setting :)PJ
