Lo and behold.. nearly 1 year after my Red Baron Dragonfly picture I find, in the same location, a remnant... I never thought I'd see a dragonfly to match his equal but his seed lives on, Here is a picture of his son... Beautiful shot. This is a very sharp photo. The amount of detail in the wings is astounding. Nice work.

This is the most unusal color in a dragon, I have ever seen.. I think this one is even prettier than it's daddy..

awww.. those creatures ALWAYS fascinate me. i wish i could see on in person :( where do you, photographers, find these magical animals? i hope i'll manage to spot one dragonfly one day.. it would be a beautiful experience. but, i'm thankful because i can enjoy there beauty on wonderful images like yours. i lvoed the image of his daddy as well :)) but this one as more gorgeous colours.. that orange is very vibrant, i like it a lot! and his gentle wings seem to have a golden shade on them.. magical, isn't it? :)
tremendous details, too, the picture is so sharp and has a great quality.. the background blur also focuses the little dragonfly and the lighting increases the beauty of that orange colour on its body. excellent composition, great subject, outstanding image!

This is an awesome shot! Ever since I was a small child, I've been fascinated by dragonflies, they always seemed kind of otherworldly, like they don't belong on this planet. Anyway, this little guy is magnificent, and such a closeup shot really shows off the details of his strange little body. 10/10, and on my desktop NOW! =]
