I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
I like your HDR work Jerry but I truly think some of your images are a bit over sharpened.... Unnatural. But perhaps that's the way you want them to look.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By. Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
I caught EJ being inconsistent. Remember clearly stating him that your images were oversaturated !!!! LOL I take liberty to disagree for just this once with our beloved EJ. There is nothing wrong here. To the contrary. SAM & SAAB *as always dead serious*

When applications like Photoshop sharpen an image they often brighten pixels along the periphery of shapes, like highlighting the edges of leaves, for example. It doesn't really "sharpen" the image as much as make the shapes pop a little better. Because of that it's quite easy to over-sharpen a photo. Looking closely at this image, however, at the pixel level, I don't see that happening, so I agree with your assessment of heightened detail rather than sharpening. Heightened detail is a normal result of the use of HDR. -Nik

Actually the sharpening I do is very minimal like .6 most of the time. I have a lot of control over my sharpening program (Topaz Labs In Focus) and use it very sparingly. Over sharpening will create halos which I dislike mucho. I'm sure if there was a lot of haloing I would hear about it. One way to help eliminate that is to make sharpening the very last thing you do to a picture.
