The contrast of textures and colours is fantastic here! Grey and red always goes together...and then the wood texture and the nail heads...or bolts..? its just wonderful.

This is an excellent composition, Bethany. I like the contrast between the artificial and the natural, the efficient and the beautiful, the regular and the chaotic, the grey and the red. The way you placed the flower stem at the 1/3 point at the same time that you placed the fence-post edge at the 1/3 point, to balance each other. Very lovely.

lol, I try to be abstract with everyday objects (makes it a little more unique and interesting). I loved the colors and I got this shot just in time (snowed the next week).

I would have to say that as far as your photography work that is present in your galleries ... this is definitely a fav of mine. It's ... well ... beautiful.

For me ... it has such an emotive feel and look. This image tells me a story ... allows for some interpretation ... and because of that element ... it is one of a kind. The softness, the contrast in textures and vibrant colours ... simply beautiful.
