Nice capture- lots of places to get hung up and stare at for a while- like the spots of color from the flowers in the background- adds a very nice touch.
Hello again Laurel and thank you for the comment on Lavish. I'm glad you liked it, that one reminds me of how I used to be more adventerous in my photo editing. I feel the urge to do something like it again.
This shot is fantastic, and I love the way the simple black framing adds to the bold impact of your unusual subject. I also want to follow all the branches with my eyes, a great desktop for those who aren't easily distracted :) You could minimize everything and stare intently at this and pretend that you're working.
I was suprised after opening this one up full screen. When i saw the thumbnail i was thinking it was proabbly a cool looking tree, but a picture woudn't really work out very well. Well anyways i was wrong. You did a good job making this interesting tree look interesting. One thing that would imporve this shot would be a bigger depth of field i think. Then the entire tree could be in focus. I was looking through your gallery a bit and was wondering what kind of camera you have. You have done some nice stuff. Keep up the good work.
