This is from a bridgewalk I did a few years ago when someone I knew from CalTrans offered to take a bunch of us up. I love the geometry of the bridge combined with the natural landscape.

What do you mean you "went on a bridgewalk" ???? were you up high like that? on top of the bridge???? Can you explain? I mean if it was that, thats very very scarey and dangerous...Its a awesome shot....and where is this bridge? ITs not the Bay Bridge is it? Wanna share?..........verena

Very cool! Thanks for sharing this awesome photo. I too would like to know the story of how you climbed to the top, without incriminating yourself of course.

Thanks for the great feedback. I must confess that while I enjoy the idea that I would be brave enough to sneak up there without permission, it was actually through someone I knew at CalTrans. He had offered a bunch of us a chance to go up because of contruction that was going on. I was thrilled - I had always wondered what it would be like to be up there. It was less scary than I thought it would be - we had clips like climbers. I plan to choose a few more from the trip to post when I have a chance.

Exceptional view. The clarity is awesom in this and the overall picture offers a lot to see. My husband inspects bridges and has gotten use to the heights, me on the other hand freeze up. Glad that you were able to handle this walk and capture such a great view for us.Excellent work :)

Anything for art! Cables or not I'm hanging on with both hands with my eyes shut so better you than me for this one. It is a lovely view combined with that massive structure.

I've been over this bridge 100's of times always hoping I could get a shot like this. How'd you do it?

Great picture! Not everyone gets a chance to take a shot from that angle! Good job!
