I taken this picture while was going to visit a medieval place. I stopped my car and I thought that taking the mountain in background with this plant in foreground would have been able to produce quite a charming image, Pls your feedback.

It has a very artistic structure, Ed. I really like it very much! It has a different kind of feeling to it and it belongs in a magazine. Faved!

I think it's probably even better with the plant. You gave the scene so much more by having this plant in the foreground. Such a rich green..it actually brings out all the patterns of the plants ont he mountain in the background. Nice job Eduardo. V

Well, it looks the mountain is getting bald, so adding plants on the foreground makes a difference. Great work.

Ed - Interesting colors produced in the post-photo work. Those are some rugged hills in the background, judging from the minimal amount of foliage on large sections. I have a similar picture of Niagara Falls to post soon - flowers in the foreground with the water fall in the background. Thad

Fabulous shot! The plant in the front makes it look surreal! I would not change anything about it.

I think your choice of background for this ... sword plant? ... is perfect... I love the orchard with its arrow shaped lines. And the arrow (or point) idea is also reflected in the unforested areas of the hills. Nice use of light as well.

This would be a good candidate for the Patterns In Nature contest. Really great lines and texture in this image. I feel like the color is a little too saturated for this beautiful image and the shadows look a little too dark. That might be my monitor though - it's not properly calibrated. I like how the direction of the cloud movement almost seems to mimic the fronds in the foreground. anne :-)

Tell me if you like it or don't but be sure to tell me why! I promise to always give honest and sincere (albeit gentle when necessary) critiques. MY NEW YEARS TIP for all, go have some fun with your new gear you got for Christmas. Do some things you rarely or never do. If you always shoot scenics, go shoot macros (or as close up as you can get.) Practice on different subjects, try new lighting techniques, bracket your shots (shoot the same image at different exposures and different apertures), get down low and shoot from your back, your belly, and your knees. Bend, twist, lean and climb up on things. Shoot toward the sky (carefully - blown out sunlight is NOT attractive :-) Just do something different and amaze yourself then share with us :-) Love you Caedians.
