I adore walking in streets like this. It's beautiful, mysterious, romantic. Do I exaggerate? Well, that's me.

Very interesting shot, Ed. The curve in the narrow street leading further through the arch makes one want to see more. Well composed and captured!

Ed - Steeply down the hill! Excellent HDR on this scene - I like the curve in the road leading the eye to a point where the road continues but cannot be seen. Thad

Man, I'm glad there are steps down the middle of this little street. I can imagine some spoiled American kid, wearing those goofy tennis shoes with the wheels in the heel, trying to go down this hill and losing it, wiping out some elderly Italian at the bottom. The HDR you're using here is bringing out so many great textures, I'd try listing them all but you don't want a comment that long here. Suffice to say this image has a delightful artistic feel to it, even a little more than your images usually do. It may be all those textures combined with the sharp edges everything has to it, and that near-optical illusion created by the steep street. Great shot, Edoardo. I'm keeping this one, thanks.
