Since nobody was home and the door was open I let myself in and enjoyed the larder and then had a quick nap on the sofa.

I durn near broke my fool neck trying to avoid stepping on this thing thinking it was inhabited at the time. I guess the babysitter had the young 'uns out for a stroll when I dropped by.

Nice nest Wendell - glad You did not stumble. Perhaps the young ones have flown - let's hope so as those who build their nests on the ground are far more in danger of perdators. Very nice shot - good luck in the contest.
