We passed each other in silence on the trail. We did our best to ignore the others presence. Acting as if we were alone in the world. Trying not to say those words that would ruin the moment. A slight nod of the head, a glint in the eye, and a quirk of a smile was all that was needed. We admired the scenery. Fought off a ravening horde of chipmunks. Then parted ways as if it had never happened. Perhaps it was all imagined, but it seemed so real in the moment. It would explain the scars though.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Fighting with the missus again, Wendell?
So how is the stalking business these days? Imagination business seems to be booming.

And we 'all' know you like to stop and have a wee 'chat' mate...

Maybe they know you, and wished to get home before darkness crept in eh!..

Nudge, nudge, wink, wink!!!!

Great narrative - have you considered writing romance novels? Nice shot too with all the angles and curves.

That's a scarey thought for that poor girl to be walking alone in the park and then run into the likes of you, Wendell. However, I'd rather see her than another @%$* bench. Love your narrative.I don't see how it could have been imagined. Besides the scars, you have photographic evidence.

You spend a lot of time in this park with your camera. Many of your finest postings have been shot here as I recall. Very nice peekaboo composition but the focus seems off as if this was cropped from a much larger image. Not your best, but not your worst.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
