All I can really tell you is that this is someplace. I'm just not sure where. Now whether this is someplace near or someplace far or a special someplace is a relative term. Apparently whoever left this piece of machinery here didn't consider it to be all that special. On the other hand the birds and mice building nests in it probably consider it to be very special. Though I imagine the deer bounding across the meadow in the near dark that end up bumping into it aren't all too fond of it.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Wonderful narrative, Wendell, except for the little ">/p>" at the end. I'm sure you're already correcting it; so nobody will have a clue what I'm talking about which is pretty standard for me under any conditions.

The texture of the shot is reminiscent of "French Countryside" in Topaz Adjust. I suspect that this might not be a recent shot unless you're already having autumn in N.S. Love the colors (especially the greens again) and the silky feel to the overall image.

I would have offset the piece of machinery by stepping to the right because I'm irritated for no good reason by the gap in the group of trees on the far right. You live in a gloriously scenic area even if it's only someplace to some and nowhere to others. And what a view from the cockpit of the tractor with those foggy windows.

Good luck in the contest.

I notice Roger is thinking of doing his usual quickstep to the right again eh!... ;o)

Somewhere a someplace is a place where someone somewhere likes that place!...(Now I'm cornfuzzled after that)..I need to go somewhere!

great entry..like the 'Buzz' effect which gives it a 'not' so decrepit look!

Now tell the truth, Wendell. You've been quarantined again.
At least, this time you have a gorgeous view from every window. If it's all right with you, I'll pop in on visiting day and clean your windows.

Wendell - This farmer, leaving the broken equipment in the field, doesn't share the appreciation for the beautiful view. Thad

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
