Take some rain water found on the lid of an old 50 gallon oil drum add an oily sheen and the rusty textures of the lid. Put the thing through several different editing programs and odds are you'll end up with something different every time much like I did.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

I like your recipe for success.
Does it work also in other daily matters ...?
This is a fun image for me, but keeps me worried that I cannot read fully the text written by some hooligan in the upper part...
I guess the word must be pretty bad then. Naughty boy had to place this inscription on your newly finished coat applied on the old oil drum lid.

And a 'pretty slick' find!

Nicely thought out for this...makes a great texture

A veritable riot of colors! It could be a red giant star about to go super nova... something cataclysmic anyway... I really like the was you experiment to come up with riotous stuff like this.

You are "far out," to say the least, Wendell.

Wow this is superb and who would believe it was oil in a drum the colours and patterns are stunning and this reminds me of the old 1970 oil lamps that you would plug in and they produced these lovely patterns.Well done my friend for some thing different and it shows that there are photo,s to be had in lots of places that you would not think of at the time.

Journey to the centre of the earth and hot molten lava comes to mind...just goes to show with a little imagination interesting imagery can be found anywhere and everywhere...nice abstract design in that oil slick.

I agree with Pat - the first thing I thought of was molten lava - so very cool!(pun intended)
