These two pileated woodpeckers stopped by the yard today. While here they attempted to serenade us with a song. While not noted for their singing ability they can certainly hammer out a tune. Judging from their behavior during their visit as I witnessed one feeding the other. I assume one is an adult and the other a juvenile, or else the bugger is just too lazy to feed himself or is getting over a beak injury.
