A young buck I had the pleasure of stumbling upon one day last autumn while out for a walk. Good thing the deer decided to go for a walk that day too or there would be a deer-shaped void in this photo that could prove hard to mask over and even harder to explain.

I love his stance with one hoof up ready to flee and a very interested look on his face. Excellent capture.

He would be safe during our deer season, Wendell. First of all he doesn't have enough points on his antlers and secondly, we are all bad shots.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
A beautiful shot, Wendell. That big Birch just left of his head does pull your eyes away from his face. The mixture of colours in the ground cover, and the main subject would get more attention if that trunk was cloned over.

Love how you captured this deer it looks like it is prancing about and looks so proud as well plus the detail is superb Wendell along with the sunlight and shadows .the detail is that good you can even see the light shining of the deers noses and eyes,great capture.
