The uncommon Grackle must be cackling at you not getting it's picture!.....Looks a bit like a crow!..but then again..all blackbirds look like crows to me!

What is absolutely stunning about this photo is the contrast of the bird (lovely color) against the sky and amidst the branches. This enhances the eyes and gives a dramatic effect. Composition is excellent.Bravo!

Wendell - When these show up in my yard, I know that it is time to look a bug control. My milky spore application last year seems to have kept them at a distance, as they are enjoying a neighbor's yard. ~Thad

Stunning looking capture of a lovely colours in this bird and nice sharp detail as well.plus I like how there is a slight blur to the background bring out the detail of the bird and tree too.10/10

I do love the lighting here - coming slightly from above and slightly from behind and slightly from the left ... Gentle and soft light makes the bird most presentable, dear Wendell.

A good natural capture of that common crackle Wendell. It is pretty difficult to capture them because of there coloring and darkness. They sure love to get in the shadows.

The do have beautiful colour in their feathers with the sun and those eyes, but boy are they noisy and bully at the feeders
